Dr. Chua graduated from the University of Adelaide, Australia, with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He completed his Orthopaedic Specialist training under NUHS in Singapore in 2017. In 2019, he was awarded the HMDP award, which enabled him to pursue a fellowship in Foot and Ankle Surgery at Oxford University Hospital NHS Trust in the UK.

During his fellowship at Oxford University Hospital, Dr. Chua gained extensive experience in advanced foot and ankle surgical techniques, including minimally invasive procedures and complex deformity corrections. He collaborated with leading experts in the field, enhancing his skills and knowledge in both adult and paediatric orthopaedic care.

Dr. Chua has been instrumental in introducing novel surgical techniques and implants for minimally invasive bunion surgery at NUHS. He also initiated the setup of the Singapore Clubfoot Babies support group at KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital, providing support and resources for families with children affected by clubfoot. Dr. Chua is committed to medical education and has contributed to various research publications in the field of orthopaedics.
