The Ascle team touched down in Hanoi, Vietnam, for our annual team-bonding trip, ready to explore, eat, and experience the city together beyond the office.

One of the trip’s highlights was the jeep tour, where we kicked things off with a taste of Hanoi’s local delicacies.

From there, we cruised through the city, taking in its iconic landmarks while learning about Hanoi’s rich history and unique blend of cultural influences shaped by centuries of tradition and change.

The tour ended at the city’s renowned Train Street, where we witnessed trains passing just inches away from cafés and homes, a truly unforgettable sight that captured Hanoi’s vibrant, everyday charm.

Over the next few days, the team immersed ourselves in hands-on and cultural experiences.
We tried our hand at pottery classes, gaining insight into Vietnam’s long-standing pottery tradition, where craftsmanship, patience, and creativity are deeply valued. The process was a meaningful reminder that, much like teamwork, great results take time, collaboration, and care.

Coffee lovers were in for a treat as we sampled Hanoi’s famous local brews, including egg coffee, salted coffee, and yoghurt coffee, each surprisingly distinct and memorable in its own way.

Food was, of course, a major highlight. From popular restaurants to hidden local eateries, we bonded over shared meals, laughter, and lively conversations.

Evenings were a time to slow down and unwind, as the team came together to share laughter, stories from the day, and meaningful conversations, creating moments of genuine connection and camaraderie.

More than just a getaway, the Hanoi trip gave us the opportunity to strengthen relationships, create shared memories, and return refreshed, inspired, and even more connected as a team.
